Handi Kabab

Introduction:

Handi kabab is a famous dish across south Indian cuisine. It is a delicious dish made with meat, lamb, or chicken. Meat is marinated with different spices to make kabab.

After making kabab these kabab are cooked in rich gravy. Handi kabab is a very easy-to-make dish. Everyone likes it because of its aromatic and delicious taste. Serve this flavorful dish with naan (flatbread)

Marination Ingredients:

Beef                                                                                                  500 grams

Salt                                                                                                   1 teaspoon

Dry Coriander                                                                                 1 tablespoon

Cumin seed                                                                                     1 teaspoon

All Spices                                                                                          ½ teaspoons

Carom Seeds                                                                                   ¼ teaspoons

Black Pepper                                                                                   ½ teaspoons

Turmeric                                                                                          ¼ teaspoons

Red Chili Flakes                                                                               1 teaspoon

Lemon Juice                                                                                     1.5 tablespoon

Ginger                                                                                               ½ tablespoon

Garlic                                                                                                ½ tablespoon

Green Chili                                                                                       1 tablespoon

Onion                                                                                               175 grams

Green Coriander                                                                             ½ Cup

Marination Making:

Take beef in a bowl with 80 percent beef and 20 percent fat. Add crushed spices and garlic ginger paste. Add onion and make sure to squeeze out all water from onions. Add green chili and fresh lemon juice to the mixture. Mix the ingredients well and marmite for 1 hour.

Gravy Ingredients:

Tomatoes                                                                                           300 grams

Oil                                                                                                       1/3 cup

Onion                                                                                                 175 grams

Garlic                                                                                                  ½ tablespoon

Ginger                                                                                                ½ tablespoon

Salt                                                                                                     1.5 teaspoon

Dry Coriander                                                                                   ½ tablespoon

Cumin seed                                                                                      ½ teaspoon

Red chili powder                                                                              1.5 teaspoon

All Spices                                                                                           ½ teaspoons

Black Pepper                                                                                     ½ teaspoons

Turmeric                                                                                            ¼ teaspoon

Yogurt                                                                                                1/3 cup

Water                                                                                                  2 cup

Fenugreek                                                                                         1 teaspoon

All Spices                                                                                           ½ teaspoons

Cooking:

After marination, it’s time to make kabab for the recipe. Wet your hands and make a kabab with your hands. Place a pan on the flame and add oil. Heat the oil on medium flame and add kabab. Fry the kabab until they turn golden. Do not over-fry. Scoop the kabab from the pan and add chopped onion in the same oil. Cook until the onion turns golden brown.  Add garlic-ginger paste and tomato paste. Make sure to strain the seeds from the tomatoes to make the gravy smooth. Cook for 5 minutes on medium flame. Add spices and cook until the oil spreads from the gravy. Add yogurt and stir continuously. Cook on medium flame until water dries and oil comes out. Add kabab and cook for 5 minutes. Add water and cover with a lid. Leave for 20 minutes on low flame. After 20 minutes of cooking add fenugreek and other seasoning. Now your delicious Handi kabad is ready to serve.

Serving:

After making this delicious dish it’s time to serve to your guests. Place plates and forks on the table. Also, keep water and tissue paper. Scoop out an equal quantity of gravy and kabab on each plate. serve this delicious and aromatic food with flatbread (naan), and rice. Make sure to use food wisely.
