Marination:
The first step is to marinate chicken for
Chicken Steam Roast. Cut the full chicken into 8 pieces and wash the chicken.
Leave the until chicken gets dry. Let’s make the marinade with common
ingredients like yogurt, corn flour, lemon juice, and food coloring (yellow ).
Add spices like chat masala, chicken powder, red chili flakes, hot masala (
Garam masala ), black pepper crushed, red chili powder, and salt. Never forget
to add roasted dry coriander powder and roasted cumin seed powder. Mix well the
marinade with a spoon or hand. Make deep cuts in the chicken pieces with the
knife so that the spices of the marinade penetrate deeper. Add dry chicken
pieces into the marinade and mix well with a spoon or hand until the marinade
gets into every chicken piece. Leave the chicken marination for at least a few
hours, or if it is possible leave it overnight so that the taste of the
marinade and the flavor of spices get well in the chicken. Cover the marination
with wrapping paper or a lid and leave on the refrigerator. After marination,
the chicken pieces are normally in a single layer in a dish or a tray.
Steaming:
After
overnight or a few hours of marination now chicken is ready for steaming. Many
recipes suggest different methods to steam chicken, but we will use a simple way
to cook chicken. Take a file paper and wrap the marinated chicken pieces one by
one in the file paper well along with the marinade. Now take water in a big pot
and put it on the stove to boil and add the ingredients for steam water. Add
lemon slices, bay leaves, fennel seeds, onion, star anise, ginger, dry
coriander, and garlic. Now Place a steaming rack inside the pot or use
steaming appliances. Make sure to use a tight lid so that the steam doesn't get
out of the pot. Now place the wrapped marinated chicken on the rack and close
the lid of the pot. Now leave the marinated chicken for 20-30 minutes until the
chicken is tender and cooked through. The time for the steamed chicken also
depends on the size of the chicken pieces. After 30 minutes of steaming, the
chicken is ready to serve. Scoop out of the pot, and unwrap the juicy,
flavorful, chicken full of aromatic spices aroma. Garnish this delicious dish
with fresh herbs such as chopped green coriander or parsley and serve hot.
Serving:
Now it's time to serve such a fabulous dish. Set the table with standard-size plates, spoons, and cutters. Set one or two boxes of tissue paper, and make sure that enough quantity of fresh water is available. Now serve the food which is loved by the people around the world. Use hot naan bread, rice, and salad for serving, and please avoid wastage of any food.
